Description: The doors open at 6:30pm, and trivia begins at 7:00pm. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, and romantic raffle prizes. We will also award a “sweet” prize for the table with the best Valentine’s Day theme. Linda Russ, a long-time friend of the school’s chess program, passed away in 2005 after a long battle with cancer. She graciously began the fund to help students pay for registration and travel to the various chess tournaments throughout the school year. Cost is $160 for an 8-person table. Soda and snacks will be provided, and beer will be available for purchase.
